Block 3956618 date B129 (Feb 12, 1969) Also used in 1969 302, 327, and 350. Heads 3927186 date: G318 (July 31, 1968) 64 cc, used on 69 302 SAVE FOR WHITE 68.
Please tell me what I have. Block is a 3970010 , opposite side of block is stamped G17. Has what I assume is an original 2 barrel intake. Block deck has the following codes: V0328CHK. 18c122629. Anyone know this block GM 41 3970010. I know its a 350, (I believe), has a drivers side dipstick and a "8" for its build year. I would think 1978 cause the small pad in the front of the engine is the smaller square shape not the longer more narrow older style pad for 1968. The pad is smooth so theres no engine codes. Its cast GM 41 by the 3970010.
